Product updates, release notes, and changelog from the Trackstack team.
We fixed an issue where some tracks in Inbox were not showing a waveform or playback controls. You can now preview and play any track in your Inbox regardless of how it was uploaded. No tracks should appear without a waveform anymore.
Impact: All tracks in your Inbox now show a playable waveform
We fixed a bug in Inbox where your Instagram account could appear as Connected before the connection was confirmed by our servers. The status indicator now only shows Connected once your account is fully verified and ready to use. This means you can trust that what you see in your Connected Accounts settings accurately reflects your real connection state.
Impact: No more false Connected status for Instagram before setup is complete
You can now re-upload a track directly from your Sent inbox when a submission becomes unavailable. This brings the submission back to an active state without needing to start a new one from scratch. We've added a clear re-upload action so you always have a way to recover and keep your submissions moving.
Impact: Recover unavailable Sent submissions without losing your original submission history
Scrolling through a large pending queue is now noticeably smoother and faster. Tracks load earlier as you scroll so you no longer hit a spinner or stutter when approaching the bottom. This improvement is most noticeable in inboxes with hundreds or thousands of submissions.
Impact: No pauses or loading spinners when scrolling quickly through a large queue
We've fixed a bug where the pending queue in your Inbox would stop loading after the first couple of pages, leaving newer submissions unreachable. You can now scroll through your full pending queue regardless of how many tracks are waiting. The track count shown in your Inbox will also correctly reflect all pending submissions.
Impact: All pending submissions are now reachable by scrolling, no matter how large your inbox is
You can now re-upload a track directly from a Sent submission that has become unavailable. This lets you replace the missing file and reactivate the submission without having to start over. The option is available on both desktop and mobile.
Impact: Recover unavailable Sent submissions without losing your existing submission history
We've fixed three issues in the Studio post editor that were getting in the way of publishing. YouTube video thumbnails now load correctly in your posts list, the author selector works reliably without unexpected focus or click behaviour, and the schedule picker no longer closes itself when you try to pick a date.
Impact: YouTube thumbnails display correctly in your posts list without errors
You can once again use Enter and Backspace keyboard shortcuts to approve or reject tracks while reviewing submissions in Inbox. These shortcuts stopped working after a recent update to the submissions view and have now been restored. Your review workflow is back to full speed without needing to reach for the mouse.
Impact: Approve or reject tracks quickly using Enter and Backspace without clicking
We fixed an issue where tracks uploaded recently would show a broken or missing artwork image in the share modal and on public share pages. You will now see a proper fallback artwork whenever a track's artwork is still being processed. This means sharing a track right after uploading it will always look polished and complete.
Impact: Artwork always appears when sharing a track, even if it was just uploaded
We've fixed an issue in Inbox where the mouse cursor would display incorrectly when hovering over different parts of the comment composer. Clickable elements now show a pointer cursor as expected, and text areas show the correct text cursor. Everything in the comment section should now feel consistent and intuitive to interact with.
Impact: Clickable buttons and controls in the comment composer now show the correct pointer cursor
You can once again control notification preferences individually for each inbox from your notification settings page. The tabbed view lets you fine-tune which channels receive alerts per inbox, and an 'Apply to all inboxes' option is available when you want to update everything at once. The Weekly Inbox Report email toggle is also back in its own section, separate from your per-inbox settings.
Impact: Set notification preferences independently for each inbox instead of a single shared setting
The formatting toolbar in the bio editor on your profile settings page is now properly visible. You can now use bold, italic, and other rich-text options without the toolbar being hidden or inaccessible. This fix ensures the bio editor works as expected when updating your profile.
Impact: Formatting toolbar is always visible when editing your bio
You can now link your Songstats profile to your Trackstack inbox directly from your workspace. When you open your inbox, you may see a one-time prompt asking you to confirm a suggested profile, search for the right one, or let us know you don't have one. Linking your profile unlocks analytics powered by your Songstats data.
Impact: Quickly confirm or find your Songstats profile without leaving your workspace
We fixed an issue in Inbox where selecting a track would not show its details. You can now click a track and immediately see the full track information as expected. Everything works as it should when browsing and reviewing tracks in your inbox.
Impact: Track details appear correctly when you select a track
We've fixed an issue that was preventing the notification preferences page in Inbox from loading. You can now open your workspace notification settings without hitting an error. Everything should work as expected again.
Impact: Notification preferences page loads without errors
You can now start direct messages and group chats in Studio using a new message modal, accessible via the '+' button in the Direct Messages section. Search for members, select one or more, and jump straight into a conversation. The sidebar now shows only your active conversations instead of every studio member, keeping things focused and easy to navigate.
Impact: Start 1:1 or group chats from a clean search-and-select modal
You will now receive a weekly email digest every Monday summarising the activity in your Inbox. The report shows pending tracks awaiting review, week-over-week submission and contact growth, top genres, and your most active senders. You can manage your preference for this email at any time from your notification settings.
Impact: Stay on top of pending tracks without logging in to check manually
We fixed an issue in Inbox where cancelled submissions in your Sent folder were incorrectly showing as 'Unavailable' instead of 'Cancelled'. You can now clearly see which submissions have been cancelled, making it easier to understand the true status of your outgoing demo submissions at a glance.
Impact: Sent submissions that have been cancelled now display the correct 'Cancelled' status
We fixed an issue where the next and previous buttons in the Inbox player were not working properly when browsing tracks across different views such as your saved library and submission lists. You can now move between tracks without losing your place or hitting dead ends. Playback navigation is consistent no matter which part of Inbox you are listening from.
Impact: Skip forward and back through tracks without interruption
We've fixed an issue where the comment composer footer buttons were not displaying properly on mobile devices in Inbox. The buttons and controls now lay out correctly at all screen sizes, making it easier to post and manage comments from your phone.
Impact: Comment composer is fully usable on mobile without buttons being cut off or misaligned
We've removed three notification toggles from Inbox settings that had no effect when switched on or off. Your settings page now only lists the notification types that are genuinely controllable, so what you configure is what actually happens. This means you can trust that turning a notification type off will stop those notifications.
Impact: No more confusing toggles that appeared to let you control notifications but did nothing
You can now control notification preferences separately for each inbox in your workspace. Head to Settings and pick any inbox to choose exactly which email, push, and in-app notifications you want for that inbox, without affecting your others. You can also copy one inbox's settings across all your inboxes at once with the new Apply to all inboxes option.
Impact: Set different notification preferences for each inbox independently
We've simplified the offline sync settings in Inbox so it's easier to understand what's stored on your device and how to manage it. The page now includes a plain-language explanation of how offline sync works and makes it clear that clearing your cache is safe and won't affect your submissions. Button labels and status indicators have been updated to be more straightforward.
Impact: A clearer explanation of how offline sync works and what cached tracks are
We fixed an issue in Inbox where the filter bar would slide over the header when resizing your browser window. Everything now stays in its correct place regardless of your window size. Reading and managing your messages should feel cleaner and more predictable.
Impact: The header and filter bar no longer overlap at any window size
We've fixed an issue where tracks were not downloading correctly for offline listening in Inbox. Tracks you save for offline use will now cache properly so you can listen without an internet connection. If you were experiencing silent failures or missing audio when going offline, this has been resolved.
Impact: Tracks saved for offline listening now download and play as expected
We've fixed an issue in Inbox where the waveform start point you set on a track would be lost once the upload finished. Your chosen start point now persists after the upload completes, so you no longer need to set it again. Everything works as expected from the moment your track is ready.
Impact: Start points you set on a track are retained after uploading
We fixed a crash that could occur on iOS devices when opening the country or city selector in your Inbox profile settings. The dropdowns now load smoothly regardless of how large the location dataset is. You can update your country and city without the app freezing or becoming unresponsive.
Impact: Country and city dropdowns no longer crash or freeze on iOS
We've fixed an issue where the city search field in Inbox settings could crash or freeze on iOS devices. You can now type and select your city without running into any unexpected behaviour. This fix applies when updating your location preferences on iPhone and iPad.
Impact: City autocomplete works reliably on iOS without freezing
We've fixed an issue where the bulk action bar in Inbox was not appearing or behaving correctly on mobile devices. You can now select multiple tracks and take bulk actions on them from your phone just as you would on desktop. Managing your submissions on the go should feel much smoother.
Impact: Bulk action bar is now visible and usable on mobile screens
You can now scroll through and search all of your stacks when moving a track or browsing the sidebar, no matter how many stacks your workspace has. A search filter appears automatically in move and shortlist menus when you have more than six stacks, and in the sidebar when an inbox has more than eight. Previously, long stack lists were cut off and some stacks were impossible to reach.
Impact: All stacks are now reachable when moving or shortlisting a track, even in large workspaces
We've fixed an issue where opening an inbox for the first time in a session would only show the first batch of tracks, with no further tracks loading as you scrolled down. This affected secondary inboxes in workspaces with multiple inboxes. Scrolling through your full submission queue now works reliably from the moment you open any inbox.
Impact: All submitted tracks load as you scroll, not just the first batch
We've fixed an issue in Studio where the Schedule Post modal would close the moment you clicked a date in the calendar, making it impossible to schedule a post. You can now click any date or time in the scheduler and the modal will stay open until you are ready to confirm. Scheduling posts works reliably again without losing your selection mid-flow.
Impact: Click a date in the schedule picker without the modal unexpectedly closing
We fixed an issue where file upload limits were not being enforced consistently depending on your plan. You will now see accurate upload restrictions when adding files in bulk, matching exactly what your current plan allows. This ensures a predictable and fair experience for all users.
Impact: Upload limits are now enforced reliably no matter which plan you are on
We fixed an issue where the Linkstack preview in your link-in-bio page was showing the wrong URL when switching between inboxes. The preview URL now correctly reflects the inbox you are currently working in. This means you can trust the preview link to point to the right place every time.
Impact: The Linkstack preview URL matches the inbox you have open
You can now download your entire pending queue for offline review with a single click, letting you work through submissions without an internet connection. Large queues also load much faster now, showing your first tracks almost instantly and fetching more as you scroll rather than waiting for everything to load upfront. Actions like declining, shortlisting, and supporting a track now take effect immediately on screen without any delay.
Impact: Download your full pending queue for uninterrupted offline review
We've fixed a bug that allowed members with cancelled subscriptions to bypass payment and access Studio on the free plan. Subscription checks are now enforced correctly at sign-up and when joining a free plan. Elevate order access is also gated properly for eligible members.
Impact: Cancelled members can no longer access Studio without a valid subscription
You can now see a real waveform for each track as soon as it is queued for upload, before the file has even finished sending. While the upload is in progress you can set a start point directly on the waveform, and once it completes a footer appears on each card letting you assign a genre and add the track to one or more projects. The upload panel has also been redesigned as a scrollable card list so managing multiple tracks at once is much easier.
Impact: See an accurate waveform for every track the moment it is added to the upload queue
You can now see a small notice next to your inbox name if you haven't connected an Instagram handle yet. Clicking it takes you straight to Settings and highlights the Instagram field so you can fill it in right away. You can dismiss the notice permanently if you prefer not to see it.
Impact: Quickly spot when an inbox is missing an Instagram connection without digging through settings
You can now see Spotify Monthly Listeners and Instagram Followers for each inbox directly on your track stats page. Both columns link out to the artist's Spotify profile or Instagram handle so you can dig deeper with one click. In the Last Status view, you can sort your inbox list by either metric to quickly see who your biggest-reach contacts are.
Impact: See Spotify Monthly Listeners and Instagram Followers for every inbox your track was sent to, all in one place
You can now see and access the Manage Organisation option directly from the workspace switcher and the settings sidebar in Inbox. This option was previously missing, making it difficult to reach organisation management without workarounds. Everything is now where you would expect to find it.
Impact: Manage Organisation is accessible from the workspace switcher without extra navigation
We fixed a visual issue where the Declined section in Inbox had an inconsistent background that didn't match the rest of the page. The background now looks the same as the Expired and Archived sections, giving the whole inbox a consistent appearance.
Impact: Declined, Expired, and Archived sections now share a consistent look
We fixed a visual issue on the project detail page in Inbox where the background was not displaying correctly. The page now renders with the expected appearance, consistent with the rest of the app.
Impact: Project detail pages look visually consistent with the rest of Inbox
We've fixed an issue where the Linkstack editor in Inbox was difficult or impossible to use on screens narrower than 1280px. The editor layout and preview now fit correctly at smaller sizes, so you can build and edit your link-in-bio page from more devices without anything being cut off or overlapping.
Impact: Edit your Linkstack on laptops and smaller displays without layout issues
We fixed an issue where paid account holders were being incorrectly redirected away from Inbox pages instead of being allowed through. You can now navigate to all Inbox pages without hitting unexpected redirects. Everything should work as expected when accessing your Inbox on a paid plan.
Impact: Paid users can access Inbox pages without being incorrectly redirected
You can now download submission tracks even when your internet connection is unstable or unavailable. We've also improved how downloads work across all devices, removing a previous limitation that affected non-desktop users. If a download runs into trouble, the player will automatically try alternative methods to get the file to you.
Impact: Download tracks while offline or on a poor connection
Admins can now view and manage Elevate stores directly from the dashboard, with a dedicated browse page and individual store detail views. We've also improved the Studios management table with updated columns and row actions to make it easier to find and act on records. Both sections include loading states so the interface stays responsive while data is being fetched.
Impact: Browse all Elevate stores in one place from the admin dashboard
We've fixed an issue where tracks were not automatically downloading when you shortlisted or supported them in your Inbox. Previously you may have needed to manually trigger downloads after shortlisting, which interrupted your workflow. Tracks now queue and download as expected as soon as you take action on them.
Impact: Shortlisted tracks download automatically without any extra steps
We fixed a bug where admin members were missing from the author picker when creating or editing a post. You can now select any admin, owner, coach, or guest coach as the author of a post. Previously, only owners, coaches, and guest coaches appeared in the dropdown.
Impact: Admin members are now available to assign as post authors
The downloaded indicator on tracks in your Inbox now saves permanently, so it stays visible after you reload the page, switch inboxes, or log back in. It is also visible to everyone in your workspace as soon as any team member downloads a track, making it easier for A&R teams to avoid downloading the same track twice. The badge has also moved to sit directly beside the favourite heart for a tidier, more consistent layout.
Impact: Downloaded badges survive page reloads and new sessions, so you never lose track of what has already been downloaded
You can now select multiple tracks in your Inbox at once using checkboxes or by dragging across rows, then act on them all in one go. A floating action bar lets you shortlist, move, decline, or download your selection without touching each track individually. Downloading a single submission saves the file directly, while selecting tracks across multiple submissions packages everything into a timestamped ZIP.
Impact: Process large batches of tracks faster with bulk shortlist, move, and decline actions
